Hello, earlybirds...

Hello and thank you for dropping by. The party hasn't started yet, so I've only just begun to decorate, but do nose around and bookmark it. And comment if you have some ideas for activities that seem relevant. It's going to be a lot of fun so I really hope you'll join me.

Blogging will begin properly on April 23rd. Do come back. Please!

Also, if you have your own blog and would like to link to this one or let your readers enter the competitions, that would be great. There may be room on my blog tour, too. You can email me or my assistant, Catherine, here: catherine.hughes@gmx.com (If you don't use Outlook, just copy and paste Catherine's address into your normal email browser.)

Are you on Twitter? If you follow me (@nicolamorgan) I will follow you back (as long as you're friendly - erm, but not too friendly...). But let me know you're there by dropping a comment below, with your twitter name, so's I know who to follow back.

Are you a school pupil? I'd love to send your school library or English department a copy (while stocks last) so ask them to drop me a line. And make sure you get the first chance to read it!

Meanwhile, I'm off to prepare all the activities, competitions, extracts and cool info for the site. Something new every day from April 23rd until I collapse...

We've just received three copies of the book today and are sooo excited! There was a fight about who was going to take the books home first, but I'm afraid I had to pull rank (I am the Librarian after all!)
I started my copy during a Reading Lesson today and everyone was curious to know what I was reading - especially when I told them they can't read it yet!
What can I say - other than WOW and I'm off to bed now to read some more!
Thanks Nicola

Iffath and fairyhegdehog - hello and thank you!

Linzi - oooh, good! Fingers crossed you continue to enjoy it. If you enjoy it half as much as Nikki Heath, the librarian at Werneth School, I will be delighted!

How exciting. I love these give-away type blogs. I think you're already following me. I'm @RosalindAdam. Sometimes I get confused over Twitter all this following!

Thanks, everyone. Am struggling without braodband till April 14th (AGHHHH) - how did we ever manage without it?? So, I can't easily comment yet, but everything is under control and luckily I already had most of the posts written before I stupidly moved house.

Rosalind - yes, I think I'm following you on Twitter already. will check. Jayne - I'll hop along and follow you now (if internet connection allows...)

I've had some amazing comments about Wasted so far - will put them up soon.

Meanwhile, good luck in the first prize draw on Saturday.

OH, also, I've decided to make it open to overseas followers, too!

Hi Nicola
Sounds like Wasted is already causing a stir. Sounds great! love the cover, too.
No idea where you get the stamina with all that is going on with your house move etc. Hope it all gets sorted soon. Lx

I can't bear what you're going through - aol nightmare and shortage of shoes and moving and drinking Starbucks coffee and - well: I do hope you survive it to blog happily and peacefully.

And win awards in spite of ambivalence.
